TOWIE Sponsorship Idents full Post Production

February 29, 2016

We have just completed full post production on a series of sponsorship indents for the new season of TOWIE for ITV. Eclectic Media Motion appointed director David Ward for the spots. Having worked with David for many years he had no hesitation entrusting us with the entire post.

We were on-set providing DIT services to ensure the 4K footage was safe and had our portable Resolve grading system and control surface with us to provide immediate looks to show the client.

The sponsor, Select fashion and production company Eclectic Motion Media were also at the edit and grade session, in total we produced 9 spots for ITV and for use online. The footage was edited in Resolve as we had a very tight turnaround from shoot to transmission. Resolve now has a very powerful editing interface so this was perfect for the job.

The footage was shot with Sony FS7’s and graded in DaVinci Resolve Studio.  Some careful re-touching of some of the set and applying graphics completed the spots before output for broadcast.

Football Manager 2015 TVC – DIT, Edit, Post, Grade & Deliverables complete!

November 12, 2014

We had the pleasure of working with London ad agency Clinic/SJS on the latest TV commercial for Football Manager 2015. We provided on set grading and DIT services for the 2 day shoot with the Sony F55. For the complex stadium shot we collaborated with top Soho VFX house Munky.
The edit was completed by us whilst the VFX team built the stadium shots. Once composited we graded the footage in our Resolve suite on the new vesion 11 software. There was a lot of re-framing in this TVC to make sure we never see the managers eyes.
We then produced nine different versions of the commercial along with the international deliverables.
Account Director for the commercial had this to say about working with us –
Online Creative consistently deliver beyond our expectations, their production values, creative eye and attention to detail is second to none. We think of them as an extension of our team that truly understands the nature of our business and a clients needs, which allows us the freedom to focus on what we need to deliver. A truly safe pair of hands and a joy to work with.

BBC Grading on DaVinci Resolve

December 21, 2012

December has seen us grading 3 more BBC documentaries. 2 x 1 hour on the ‘Art of the Riviera’, scheduled for transmission mid January. The third programme is called ‘Tales of Winter’ and is a beautiful 90 minute documentary directed by Spike Geilinger.
Once again our Resolve suite had no problem conforming and grading these programmes – delivered on time, on budget and one very happy Director!

Resolve V9

September 5, 2012

Darren will be at IBC showing off DaVinci Resolve V9 on the Blackmagic Design booth again this year. Online Creative are offering a fast track training programme to get users up to speed on the new Resolve V9 interface after IBC. See our web site for details.

We have just graded a series of 3 TV commercials for a major client (I’m still under NDA so can’t say yet!!) which saw 2 lengths of each plus 9 international versions of each. Resolve V9 handled the project with ease!! Happy client (and happy colourist using a beta version!!).

Louis Vuitton colour grade

March 22, 2012

Online Creative have just finished grading a fantastic promo for Louis Vuitton. The promo follows the build of the amazing window and internal displays at their new London Bond Street store. Cherry Duck productions approached Online Creative to improve the promo’s look, previously graded using magic bullet ‘looks’. Using our resolve system we gave the whole promo a very distinct, much cooler look which both the director and client loved!

DaVinci Resolve Control Surface

September 30, 2011

We have just upgraded our DaVinci Resolve colour grading suite to include the dedicated control surface. This is an upgrade from the Tangent Wave panel we have used up to now. The dedicated control surface allows for more speed in a grading session and is far more comfortable to use for long sessions. The panel will allow our training sessions to focus on the Resolve panel and the Tangent Wave to meet clients needs.
